NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
2008 UPDATE TO
TITLE 18 (SUBDIVISION CODE) &
TITLE 19 (ZONING CODE).
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Buckley City Council has scheduled a Public Hearing to be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the Buckley Multipurpose Building located at 811 Main Street, Buckley. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to solicit public input and comment from interested individuals or groups on proposed revisions and updates to the Title 18 (Subdivision Code) and Title 19 (Zoning Code). The City is in the process of reviewing, revising and updating development regulations to correspond with the City Comprehensive Plan. The update to Title 18 clarifies and corrects procedural guidelines related to subdivisions, short subdivisions and binding site plans. The update to Title 19 (Zoning Code) adjusts performance standards for zoning classifications; develops guidelines and performance standards for Residential Clusters and Cottage Housing; proposes new off-street parking standards, and landscape standards; establishes processes for site plan review; and revises boundaries of the Historical Commercial Design Review District.

Comments may be presented orally at the Public Hearing or submitted in

Copies of the proposed regulations being considered will be available at
City Hall for review. Questions may be answered by contacting City
